Announcement:
Welcome back to ArtScience Museum. Our galleries have reopened with additional precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of our visitors. They include:

  • Safe Entry:?Temperature screening and mandatory digital check-in via the Government’s SafeEntry system for contact tracing purposes.
  • Reduced capacity:?While the Museum’s Box Office will reopen, we advise guests to pre-purchase tickets online prior to their visit, due to limits in venue capacity and timed entry to exhibitions. Each guest is limited to 8 tickets per purchase.?Selected programmes have resumed onsite while the others will continue to be available online at our ArtScience at Home webpages.
  • Safe distancing:?Safe Distancing Ambassadors are deployed to look out for groups of more than 8 visitors and remind them of safe distancing guidelines.
  • Enhanced hygiene protocol:?Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection of common spaces, high touch surfaces, such as counters and kiosks, as well as equipment. Hand sanitisers are placed in common areas and at all artworks.

In light of safe management measures,?Sliding through the Fruit Field?in?Future World?will be unavailable for public interaction.

From 4 December 2020, ArtScience Museum will be extending its opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays till 9pm (with last admission at 8pm), enabling visitors to have more time to explore and enjoy the great offerings at the Museum.

    Margins: drawing pictures of home

    Margins: drawing pictures of home presents the work of 15 contemporary photographers who reflect on topics important to Singapore today, particularly urgent during these uncertain times.

     

    Familiar and recognisable landscapes and people are subtly mediated through the photographic lens offering us deeper insights into our surroundings and current issues. These artistic responses eloquently articulate our rich and diverse migrant histories, our blended cultural ancestries, our everyday living conditions – imagining beyond the margins of our own lives and into the lives of others.

     

    Margins: drawing pictures of home is a part of the 7th edition of Singapore International Photography Festival.

    STAR WARS? Identities: The Exhibition

    Create your unique Star Wars? character in this interactive exhibition displaying close to 200 artefacts from the original Star Wars? films.

     

    Catch the final stop of STAR WARS? Identities in Singapore. Get up close and personal with original movie props, artworks, costumes and models of the famed star ships, the Millennium Falcon and the Star Destroyer from Star Wars?.

     

    Learn more about the creative process of movie-making from early concept drawings, storyboarding, model making, through puppetry and costume design. Tote Board Arts Grant Subsidy

Most of our exhibitions and educational offerings are eligible for the National Arts Council’s Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy. Schools will be issued with the Letter of Eligibility (LOE) after their visit to the Musuem. Please refer to National Arts Council Public Arts Programme Directory  for more information.
